Ladies and gentlemen
Lords of the Afterthought
What sorted hilarious lives you all lead
We the mighty mothers of universal unconvention
We have been smiling upside down upon you
For aeons we have bared witness to your carnivals of negation
Your circuses of procrastination
Not to mention your strange fascination with deforestation
We have heard the silly morsecode messages
That you have sent us spiraling them into space
And yes we have pressed the universal mute button
Countless times as we were just not interested
In taking all your calls
But now we, the funky overloards of the other worlds
Are bored and ready to help liberate you all
From your pedestrian hairy palmed pains
So say goodnight to a life of compromise
And we promise that you will forever more
Sleep tight
And when you wake in the morning
It will be to a brand new way of life
To the life that you
Never knew you were missing
But you have cried for
For so very long

The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
It's only four tracks, yes, but it's four tracks of great cosmic psychedelia.
